Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. So begins this great chapter of Hebrews 11 on the all-important aspect of faith in the life of the Christian. Tracing the lineage of faith through story after story of biblical heroes, we are given a complete tutorial in how faith works in the different trials of life.

There is no part of our lives that is outside of God’s interest, and yet we often struggle to exercise faith in certain situations. This sermon series on Hebrews 11 therefore seeks to address this challenge. As we learn from the heroes of the faith, our forerunners, we are able to learn what faith looks in all seasons, and begin to walk in their footsteps.
