Assemble a list of the most historically important documents in history, and Paul’s letter to the Ephesians has to be in that list.

Although the letter itself is relatively short, it is a concentrated and distilled version of the gospel Paul preached, the message he laid down as a foundation in the churches he planted. As such, there is possibly no greater window into the very heart of the apostle himself, and the priorities he received from God for church life and Christian discipleship.
