Over the past 3 years, we’ve had thousands of people read our articles at Salt and attend our Salt Live events. In October 2018, we introduced the Salt Course to provide a context for Londoners to explore their spiritual questions further.
The course is designed for those who are interested to explore life’s big questions in a non-judgemental environment and is spread across 6 consecutive Wednesday evenings.
We spend the first three evenings dealing with the biggest objections or questions that Londoners have about the Christian faith, such as
Pleasure: Isn’t Christianity repressive?
Proof: Isn’t faith irrational?
Pain: Why is the world so broken?
And then we spend three weeks looking at the intrinsic desires that we all have and asking how much does Christianity speak to these desires?
Peace: How can I find what I’m looking for?
Satisfaction: How can I find lasting fulfilment?
Hope: Is there a future for humanity?
What to expect
We meet at a neutral venue (typically Costa Coffee) and have some good food together. Then we hear a short talk unpacking the question for us, followed by discussion around tables in groups along with a Q&A at the end of the evening.
If you would like to know more information about the next Salt Course, then we would love to hear from you! Please feel free to get in touch by email, and we will get back to you soon.
