You are warmly invited to join us for our church weekend away in June. We are returning to Ashburnham Place in Sussex – a beautiful stately home converted into a Christian retreat centre.

I’m thrilled to announce that we’ll be welcoming Tim Chaddick, from Reality Church London, to be our speaker throughout the weekend. Tim is an outstanding preacher. He has planted two churches – one in LA, and one in London – and he has a real gift in speaking to the issues we face as Christians living in the city, with all of the opportunities and challenges that throws up. What will we be thinking about over the weekend? Here’s the theme:

AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART

All who believe in Christ are given a new identity. But not all live like it. How can I avoid living out of a false self in a fallen world? How can I live out of the true self in the kingdom of God?

The ancient Biblical story of the famous King Saul and King David provide lessons, insights and powerful truths about what happens when we live out of who God calls us to be, and what happens when we don’t. During our time together, we will explore why our daily choices matter, how we can respond to God’s love and correction, and how the way we treat others matters, and ultimately, how the gospel makes us men and women after God’s own heart.

The transport option will include the coach from Waterloo down to Ashburnham, so unless you have a car, we recommend you go for that.
