He was torn from his family, given a new name, and commanded to serve a foreign ruler. But despite this, they couldn’t steal his sense of identity, of who he was. He belonged to God, and that would never change.
Sometimes it feels like there’s a significant clash between our Christian worldview and the secular values around us. It’s easy to feel like an outsider – that you don’t belong in this city. This might feel uncomfortable. How should we respond?
