In the first part of his letter to the Colossians, the apostle Paul emphasises the veracity of the person of Christ, “the image of the invisible God”, who manifested himself as man in order to reconcile us, his people.

This truth calls us not only to believe but to be be changed. It calls us to grow in love for one another, in knowledge of God, and in the maturity of our faith, and it calls us to worship the only one worthy of any praise; Jesus Christ.
